Bloom Meadows is a private event barn located in the heart of Berkshire County surrounded by a beautiful landscape of mountains, streams, and open meadows. Started by us, Sarah & Greg, two Berkshire County natives. After graduating from Mount Greylock High School and our respective colleges, we both left the county. Sarah headed out to Boston, Massachusetts, and Greg to Raleigh, North Carolina.
Sarah lived the big city life for over six years before returning to the Berkshires to transition from a career in interior design to wedding photography. Her skills readily apparent, she has flourished in the industry. Not long after returning to the Berkshires, in the peak of her busy wedding season, she connected with Greg and they became inseparable ever since.
While Sarah was in the city, Greg was living the southern lifestyle in Raleigh, NC. He needed a break from the long Berkshire winters! During the five years spent in the South, Greg worked as a real estate agent and had begun working as a dog trainer shortly after he started dating Sarah.Realizing this meant a move back north for Greg, we decided to combine our talents and start a new business. Slowly, piece by piece the concept of Bloom Meadows was born, and we couldn’t be happier! A Berkshire destination spot for weddings, events and community functions. Along with, a trail system for the community and their dogs to enjoy! All that was left was deciding on a town for it.
The choice of Hancock as our home for us and Bloom Meadows was not an accident. We are both Williamstown natives and grew up driving through the neighboring town our whole lives. We always admired the open spaces and beautiful backdrop the town offers. Between the friendly people and beautiful landscape, it was the ideal place to start our business. Even more importantly, a great place to start our life & family together.
Bloom Meadows is determined to provide you the country wedding you have been dreaming of. As the first couple to be married at Bloom Meadows, we aren’t asking anyone to do something we wouldn’t!
